062 - Strathspey #2

This hearkens back to 2012 when I was doing the first run of Tuna Day.

I need a break from the doom & gloom that’s been seeping into my latest stuff so decided to mine a selection from that first set. All in all I composed five Strathspeys, from which maybe three are worth the effort. I’ve already posted one, here’s the second one (I think it’s a little better).

Strathspeys generally feature dotted rhythms interspersed with triplets. This one breaks tradition in that the dotted eighth - sixteenths are played like quarter / eighth triplets.
