Today is our 40th Anniversary. I married Teresa on this day in 1984. I’m lucky I found her.
Nobody’s throwing us a party. We don’t expect a single card from friends or family. None of that matters.
We’re going to go to an expensive restaurant and get the best crab bisque soup in the city, possibly the world (and that’s not hyperbole, it’s that good), then take a ride on the enormous new Ferris wheel erected just down the street, and then ride a streetcar back to our car and call it a day.
This little waltz is for Teresa.
