O18 - After The Black Crack
It’s not often one hears music in 7/16, much less several times at a concert but that’s what happened last night when I attended the 40th anniversary concert of Kansas City’s own B.C.R. band. B.C.R. is short for “Black Crack Review.”
My head swimming with all the rhythm I noted this down when I came home from the concert last night. Basically a lead in riff repeated at the end with extended improvisation in the middle. If. you try to play this feel free to take as many repeats as necessary before grabbing that extended D7b5 rash on the way to the outro.
