Brace Myself
Once again one of my hands is in a brace. This time my right hand.
Tennis elbow, and I don’t play tennis.
I had a worthless pressure pad on my arm for a while - it sort of helped but not really.
The pain isn’t bad, but it’s not going away hence this brace which prevents me from flexing my hand upwards - keeps it in line with my arm.
Problem is it really screws with my piano playing and I play every Sunday at a church gig. It’s a pleasant job and the people are nice and I enjoy entertaining them with non-standard preludes and postludes. I’ll have to remove the brace for that.
It also interferes with typing because if I rest my hand on the keyboard as I’m used to the big stiff area over the palm of my hand depresses keys. Took me a lot longer tonight to both typeset the score AND type this little bit of text.
Hopefully I won’t need it for more than a few weeks.

not recently, but perhaps 2y ago, I would fall asleep at the computer. It would go beee beee beee beee until I lifted my head up. Nowadays I don't fight sleepiness. Too bad about your brace.
