345 - Deportation March
Music to accompany the wholesale abandonment of centuries of policy and tradition because, according to those in the know, the people coming across the border are not seeking asylum, they’re from asylums for the criminally insane (just like the late, great Hannibal Lecter).
In 20 days I’ll reach the end of this year and start over with a new numbering system. There’s over 700 posts on this “blog” so far, which is bordering on unmanageable, so I’ll likely start archiving the older posts which will then only be available to paid subscribers.
What’s that you say? Paid? Yes, I have a paid subscription too, and some people enjoy this daily dose of music enough to throw a few bucks my way.
I don’t make it a point to bring it up very often, in fact, I think this is my first time, but honestly, I know some of you check this out every day, so you’re obviously getting something out of it.
With a subscription, besides helping me out, comes permanent access to all the tunes, a PDF archive of each years works, and, if requested, a copy of any piece in any key you like, and I can also provide transposed parts if needed, useful because I know some of you aren’t particularly happy about some of the key signatures that get thrown up here occasionally and you make it a point to tell me (in case you haven’t noticed, I make it a point to oscillate between all 12 major & minor modes every 24 tunes).
If you’re not a subscriber at all, grab a free one while you’re here.
