266 - Bakelite Cubes

I found a mass of bakelite dice - technically this color is referred to at Butterscotch.

Bakelite is a kind of proto-plastic, and, as it turns out, somewhat collectable these days. Old radios, Maccaferri ukuleles, anything made of bakelite can command premium prices online. I just Ebay’d (a new verb) one of these dice for $5, which, while not a killing, shows how much somebody is willing to pay these days for a 5/8” cube of bakelite with pips engraved on it.
