255 - Double Digit Disappointment
Imagine going to see a movie and being surprised when somehow the entire soundtrack was inexplicably lost and as a result the entire movie played without any music whatsoever, just dialogue and sound effects. Long passages meant to be filled with music rendered in silence, as if John Cage’s 4’33” was the soundtrack.
Would be weird and disappointing wouldn’t it?
Now imagine you’re the person that composed the soundtrack, and it’s the world premiere, and you’ve brought your friends and family with you to see it.
