248 - Road Rage

I’ve discovered when driving about town on errands if I keep my speed between 50 and 55 mph on the highway, my gas mileage almost doubles while only adding at most perhaps five minutes to the length of my trip. Since I enjoy listening to podcasts and music in the car anyway, this is like a double win for me.

Now you would think as long as I stay in the far right-hand lane not in anybody’s way and minding my own business this won’t be a problem as I’m nowhere near the minimum speed of 40 mph.

You might think that but you would be wrong.
