241 - Ready for Autumn
It’s not here yet, but all the signs are there - trees turning colors - apples and pawpaws all over the yard, temps starting to cool, days getting longer.
Fall is definitely my favorite time of the year. It’s like spring but without all the biting insects. The cooler weather is welcome even though I know it’s going to get miserably cold eventually.
Perhaps I like Fall more because I've reached a Fall-like state now in my lifetime - my body is beginning to behave similar to the trees. I’m not changing color (other than my hair), nor are parts of me falling off, but you get the idea.
