238 - Kneedless

Try deliberately respelling a word with todays auto correction and it’ll drive you crazy - it took several attempts to get the title to stick on this post.

I’ve been stung many times but never had one that the pain lasted more than a few hours. The little prick that hit my knee yesterday (see 237 - The Bee’s Knee) must’ve been loaded with some kind of especially potent juice in its stinger because today it still stings!

Ridiculous.

Todays tune resurrects one of my favorite modes which I used just a few days ago in 236 - Silent but Deadly, a hybrid combination of lydian and mixolydian. I’m sure there’s a name for this and it turns out there is, the descriptive Lydian-Mixolydian scale. I was hoping for a more academically obtuse label.
