I’ve come up with a way of preparing humble canned green beans and canned corn in a wok, frying them in butter with paprika and cajun seasonings with some onion flakes and finishing them off with a healthy dollop of oyster sauce. They’ve become a favorite side dish here, a frugal one to boot.
That was a fun one! On the culinary side of this post, you reminded me of a dish my wife found for me to make that is a microwave exclusive dish. It has a canned corn, diced tomato, green & red pepper, cilantro and spices salsa surrounding thinly sliced chicken tenders. It's actually pretty easy to make and tastes surprisingly good.
