233 - So Many Fudds
In the early days of the internet - I’m guessing somewhere around 2002 or so, there was a small website that I found slightly amusing - “Stop Elmer Fudd.” The thrust of it was whoever curated it had a thing for people that have huge vehicles but don’t know how to park them. It was full of pictures of poorly parked vehicles taking up too many spaces. These parking challenged people were labeled “Elmer Fudds.”
I freely admit the whole thrust of it was pretty lame, but still it had a certain amount of charm.
Try finding it now. Try finding any reference to it at all. You won’t. Various services that claim to archive the internet have no whisper of its existence. For that matter, this blog isn’t being archived either anywhere I can find, so when it’s gone, it’s going to really be gone.
Lately I’ve seen James Comer, whom, by the way, was not very kind to his girlfriend when he was in college, repeatedly referred to as Comer Fudd. I suppose he’s earned that label.
