214 - Exercise #1

Last night we lost our power for several hours as powerful storms impacted the area. This is unusual as all the power lines are buried here and I can count on one hand the number of times this has happened.

When it finally came back on around 2:30 AM I pulled out my now charging iPad and hastily jotted down todays tune.

This morning I came to the conclusion that tune was too sub-standard to publish so todays post is from the 2012 collection.

I’ve no idea why I thought of this as an “exercise,” and this is the only one I wrote. No #2 exists.

And speaking of major inconveniences, when the power went out last night apparently I’d failed to save yesterday’s post so now I have to literally recreate it from scratch again. Since I have the published version it’s do-able, but it’s just busy work which I’m loath to do.
