175 - A Plate of Pasta

There’s a short series on Hulu well worth the effort - The Bear - about a gourmet chef inheriting his deceased brothers sandwich shop. Doesn’t sound like much but it was a fascinating series.

The families spaghetti recipe played somewhat of a key role in the final episode and the recipe for it is posted online. It’s actually not all that difficult, the hardest part being finding authentic San Marzano tomatoes for a reasonable price.

Now that I’ve made it I can’t get away with making anything else and, in fact in-laws are now demanding it. Just made a batch last night for my sister-in-law.
