Some of my favorite composers worked in the film industry, Nino Rota is top of that list.
Another composer that’s almost unheard of these days, at least in America anyway, is Piero Umiliani, a versatile composer that worked in numerous formate but is most famous in America for the bizarre tune Máh-Ná-Mah-Ná, which, if you’ve not heard before:
