157 - Trixie's Attitude

We have a monk parrot, Trixie. I’ve mentioned her before.

I generally am not a fan of trimming birds wings so they can’t fly too far, but I acknowledge sometimes it’s necessary to keep them from escaping. We lost a cockatiel (Buzz) that way and I’m not letting it happen again.

I know it’s time to give Trixie’s wings a bit of a trimming by her attitude. Once she has full flight ability she becomes really bossy, throwing her insignificant weight around and taking out her aggressions on the dog (Eugene, the subject of a few other tunes).
