152 - Hearing Tests Again
A few days after I composed yesterday’s piece celebrating the joys of dehumidification, I had to have my hearing aids updated, which necessitated another round of hearing tests.
Those that know me know I suffer from profound hearing loss - not so much that I can no longer enjoy music or conversation, but enough that without powerful hearing aids my ability to enjoy such things is drastically impaired.
Hearing tests are not something I enjoy because I really strain to hear, or hope to hear faint enough beeps that I know my hearing hasn’t deteriorated further.
