The infarct
The title of today’s selection is taken from the word that won the 2025 Scripps spelling bee earlier this evening. Texan speller Faizan Zaki didn’t even wait for the definition - he just blurted it out and won.
It’s a French word meaning to clarify something obscure.
The music is for a friend of mine currently on blood thinners to take care of a clot (infarct) in his left lung. The cause of which is yet to be determined so requires éclaircissement.
