143 - Book III

Yesterdays ode to crustacean’s finished off the 2nd notebook since I restarted this project in July of 2021. I use 96 page D’Addario “Archives” books which have 12 stave’s per page. I average about three tunes per page. Today’s tune is the first one in the new, third notebook.

I like “Archives” because they’re sturdy, wire bound books of manuscript paper with plain brown covers devoid of extraneous crap, and they’re a nice cream color, easy on the eyes. Their only fault, and I’ve yet to find a bound book that doesn’t have this problem, is some fountain pen inks will bleed through (I write all these tunes in ink using a rotating pallet of different fountain pen colors).
