134 - A Sorry State of Affairs
I apologize for the frequently gloomy / melancholic turn these tunes have taken the last few months, but I really can’t help it. It’s my opinion most of them are products of my subconscious, and it’s spending a lot of time these days reflecting upon how differently the world turned out now that I’ve reached this advanced age than I’d imagined it would. Never would I have believed our own government would turn into a North American version of the Taliban, but it is what it is and my subconscious is following suit.
It’s certainly something interesting to live thru, though I’d rather not.
