130 - Eyes of Fire II
It’s rare a tune enters my head before I start writing it down. Typically when I do one of these I have no idea what’s going to happen until I start.
In this case the tune was running thru my head before I started, and so was the title, which almost never happens.
There is a movie from the early 1980’s with this title, shot nearby in Swope Park, actually, and it has some vaguely Irish music in it, so that could’ve contributed to a bit of involuntary recall.
Update: Much to my chagrin I recently discovered this was the second piece I named Eyes of Fire, so I’ve updated this post with a new name to clarify.
