109 - Growing A Replacement
Thumb nail that is - growing a new one.
A few days before this past Christmas our car door gently closed on my thumb, right on the cuticle. Was fantastically painful.
As a result, I’ve grown a replacement nail.
Well, I’m growing one anyway - the new one is oddly formed and has a way to go before it looks normal.
I’ll spare you the photos, however, I have been taking a picture of it every day since the accident with plans to eventually assemble the photos into some kind of time-lapse short movie of a thumb nail growing out.
I’ll compose the soundtrack. It’s sure to win an academy award for best short documentary.
