074 - Air Quality: Unhealthy
Earlier tonight when we were exiting the local Catholic Church’s twice yearly fish dinner we noticed it was kind of smoky & hazy outside. We’re not Catholic, but we do like the fish / shrimp dinners.
It’s gotten progressively worse all evening to the point where is smells like a fireplace outside.
Turns out a nursing home nearly 200 miles from here in southeast Kansas caught fire and the winds have been whipping the flames to the point where our air quality here has been deemed Unhealthy. Oddly enough, north of here, in St. Joe Missouri it’s Hazardous.
