066 - Keeping Up With The Chaos

I try to pay as little attention as I can to current events but the little I do see bolsters so much uncertainty and anxiety I cannot imagine how people that stay on top of things must be feeling.

And now, on top of all that, daylight ($&#*!) savings starts tomorrow. It’s bad enough when you’re retired but now that I’ve taken this short term job I’m going to be getting up an hour earlier starting Monday, for no good reason other than we have to change our clocks for some supremely asinine reason. The Clem Kadiddlehopper's “in charge” could’ve canceled this but nope, no such luck. They can be trusted to get just about everything wrong so I’ve no doubt this fall when normal time resumes they’ll probably make DST permanent because that’s how they roll.
