If you ask me what the title of this piece means my answer will be your guess is as good as mine. It popped into my head the instant I entered the T: in the title field of my abc doc. I wasn’t even sure flippery was a bonafide word. Looking it up it’s either a weird form of flippant, or it means having the characteristic of flippers.
