037 - The Empty Parking Lot
Last night we had a winter weather advisory, which generally doesn’t mean much.
This morning there was literally no precipitation on the street so I didn’t even bother to check whether or not the school would be closed before leaving. Why would they close for no reason?
Well that’s what they did. I was rather astounded to find an empty parking lot when I arrived.
It turns out the parking lot had been transferred to the freeway because an accident turned it into one and the 20 minute drive to work translated into an hour drive home.
