027 - Dense Fog Advisory I & II
We’ve had a few days in a row of dense fog during the daytime which is unusual for the Midwest at any time. Normally fogs like these only occur in the wee hours of he morning, not during the daylight hours.
Anyway, it was a C minor day, which I interpret as any mode with a minor (or diminished) tonic. I tried one in C phrygian, but wasn’t all that satisfied, so did another one in C dorian, which I liked better. That was the one that was going to make it to the blog today.
However, upon consideration I decided the phrygian one wasn’t so bad after all, so I’m posting both of them today as a two-fer.
Ironically, though those two were composed a few days ago, again TODAY there is another dense fog advisory for the next 24 hours! We never used to have an issue with fog here. Weird.
Mental day for me: I saw C physician, C durian, and other humourous thoughts not really in today's blog. This has happened before, where everything in life has seemed more alive than it actually was.
