A literal avalanche of problems has beset me tonight trying to get this out before the day expires.
I actually have several new pieces I was going to set and start posting tonight, but unfortunately:
The battery in my apple mouse died.
When I came back after plugging it in for several hours, it hadn’t charged.
I need it to work on my desktop computer.
I have a trackball - it’s playing hide and seek. Couldn't find it.
I went to my laptop to do the job.
Unfortunately it’s having more issues than I want to even go into tonight.
The sheet music you’re seeing is a literal screen grab from ABC itself, because for whatever reason, my easyABC on my laptop can’t find “Ghostscript,” whatever that is. I have no idea where it is or how to find it.
This particular tune from 2012 will have to suffice for the time being;
Your apple computer has Postscript built into the operating system. It is a printer language.
Your laptop is clearly a windows device, and to get postscripting powers, requires a program. Ghostscript was open source (free) but things change over the years. You'd visit http://ghostscript.com for the most recent ones. Free versions still exist.
Contact me if you wish more help getting ABCexplorer to work. It should be simple, but often there are differences between the different versions, and they have to be dealt with before it works right.
