Doing some straightening up for last nights jam session I found a blue chip pick on the floor that definitely wasn’t mine. Luckily I knew who it had to belong to and he was glad to get it back.
If you don’t know what they are, bluechip picks are simply the finest plectrums in existence. I’m not promoting them or getting a kickback (ha ha) that’s simply a fact. Yes, they’re $40 for one pick, but, as long as you don’t lose it, it’s money well spent because they simply never wear out. In addition, they come in left hand or right hand, they stick to your fingers so you’re unlikely to ever drop it, and they have the most neutral sound of any pick I’ve ever played, and if you play mandolin like I do, they excel at tremolo.
Violinists will spend big bucks for a good bow - guitarists / mandolinists / etc… should do the same for a quality plectrum.
But this isn’t about that pick, that was a digression.
It’s about all the dirty spots I found all over the rug as I vacuumed. There’s only one explanation for where they came from, that same hairy demon that fractured my foot probably did some random acts of secret piddle unbeknownst to me.
Luckily Spot Shot - a miracle product - took ‘em out.
As you listen to this it’s being played by samples of an octave guitar for melody, a sampled sonicare toothbrush for the chords, and a stylophone for the countermelody. It’s time consuming setting all that up, I can’t do it for every tune.
Re: Can’t do such involved daily items all the time - What about some kind of tier, with the greatest hits and/or more elaborate production? A handful you could direct someone to who might be considering a commission?
