016 - For Motorhead

“Motorhead” here literally refers to James “Motorhead” Sherwood, tenor saxophonist for the original Mothers of Invention. Why him? Sherwood often would be given hand percussion duties by Frank, and as I was setting this I could hear him in my mind playing his tambourine. That’s all it took.

If ABC has a way to program ritardandos or other subtle tempo changes I’ve not discovered it. The ending here should have one and progressively slow down but what’s presented here is the best I could eke out of the program.
