007 - I Jaywalked With A Zombie

As I was heading to my studio to do some work this tune pretty much dropped into my head in its entirety, except in a major key. As that’s kind of unusual I stopped what I was doing and wrote it down, but because today’s piece is scheduled to be in a minor mode, I made that change.

It was originally much faster but the more I slowed it down the better it made its point.

I thought the title was amusing then discovered there is such a thing as a jaywalking zombie which is a person walking on the sidewalk so engrossed with their phone they’re not paying attention to where they’re going. Some jaywalking zombies have been killed stepping into traffic thus taking the first step into becoming real zombies.
