ABC has a way to structure the music by parts, typically labeled using capital letters.

Here you will notice at the top of the page “ABCBCD.” At the beginning of each line you will also see the letters A, B, C, D. The music will play by sections in the order given at the top. This is a shorthand way of doing what in normal notation would be a D.S. al coda or some similar designation.
